Mr Tony Corner is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon whose private practice is dedicated entirely to the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder, elbow and upper-limb disorders. He believes in listening first, explaining clearly, and recommending surgery only when it's genuinely the best option for you.

Training and expertise

Mr Corner qualified from St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College London, and completed his specialist orthopaedic training on the North West Thames rotation in London. He then undertook a year-long advanced UK fellowship in complex upper-limb reconstruction under Mr Steve Drew.

In 2009 he was awarded the prestigious British Orthopaedic Association European Travelling Fellowship, training alongside four world-leading shoulder surgeons across France, Italy and Switzerland. He was appointed a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2010 and has since built a practice focused wholly on the shoulder and elbow.

A surgeon who also teaches surgeons

Mr Corner teaches on national shoulder courses and regularly trains other surgeons in arthroscopic (keyhole) techniques. He has been an invited guest speaker at international shoulder conferences, and is an editorial reviewer for the journal Shoulder & Elbow.
